[Dot ] [Dot ] Before you can start to use the computer, you need to know about the keyboard. Through the keyboard, you tell the computer what you want it to do.

Look at the keyboard diagram for the computer you will be using. It looks a lot like a typewriter keyboard. There are some important differences, however.

Find the return key on the diagram. You press the return key each time you finish typing information. The return key lets the computer know that you are done with one step and ready for the next.
