. . Science Explorers approaches learning as a process of discovery guided by the young child's innate curiosity.
Children are natural explorers. They embark daily on journeys of learning launched with simple questions -- Why? How? What for? Science Explorers provides a complete set of computer-based and hands-on activities that will help students answer many questions about the world. Moreover, these activities will hone the habits of mind that transform curiosity into scientific inquiry.
Each Science Explorers unit provides a rich, interactive learning environment that will motivate students to observe their world, ask questions, explore relationships, record observations, make connections, reconceptualize, and ask new questions. In short, the Science Explorers series engages children in the world of scientific thinking.
